AI May Soon Write Software Without Human Coding

AI is now changing the way software is made, and a recent social media post has started a fresh discussion among people in the technology world. The post said that source code may soon become like assembly language, which means something important but no longer written by most programmers every day.

In simple words, source code is the human-readable language used by software developers to create apps, websites and computer programs. Today, programmers write code in languages like Python, Java and C++. Then computers convert this code into machine language, which is called binary, so that the computer can understand and run it.

The post suggests that in the future, artificial intelligence may directly create this machine language without humans writing normal source code. This means a person may simply explain what software is needed, and AI may prepare the working program directly. If this happens, software development may become faster and easier for many people.

This idea is similar to what happened many years ago with assembly language. Earlier, programmers used to write assembly language, which was close to machine language. Later, better programming languages and compilers came, and most programmers stopped using assembly for daily work. Now some experts feel that AI may bring a similar change to source code also.

However, this does not mean that programmers will disappear immediately. Source code is still very important for checking mistakes, improving security, fixing problems and understanding how a program works. In countries like India, where many people work in the IT sector, this change may create both new opportunities and new challenges.

Experts believe that future software workers may need to focus more on problem-solving, clear thinking and guiding AI tools properly. Instead of only writing code line by line, programmers may spend more time explaining ideas, testing results and making sure that the software is safe and useful.
