"All-Time Record At Tirumala": July 2026 Hundi Collections Cross ₹140 Crore For The First Time In TTD History

In an extraordinary event reflecting immense faith and devotion, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) recorded its highest-ever monthly hundi income in history during July 2026. Devotees visiting the hill shrine of Lord Venkateswara contributed a massive ₹140.28 crore in cash, gold, silver, and foreign currency offerings into the temple hundi in just thirty-one days, breaking all previous monthly collection records.

The record-breaking collection was driven by a heavy rush of pilgrims visiting Tirumala throughout the month of July. Official figures reveal that over 24.52 lakh devotees completed their darshan and fulfilled their religious vows during the month, while nearly 10.58 lakh pilgrims offered tonsure (head shaving) as an offering of devotion. Daily collections remained consistently high, with hundi receipts crossing the ₹5 crore mark on five separate days and reaching a single-day peak of ₹5.31 crore on July 16.

Despite the huge rush of pilgrims from across India and abroad, TTD management ensured smooth arrangements for free food (Annaprasadam), accommodation, queue line management, and adequate laddu distribution. Temple authorities expressed gratitude to the devotees, stating that the continuous rise in hundi contributions stands as a testament to the deep faith and devotion of Lord Venkateswara’s followers across the globe.
