Travellers allege that this delay is no longer a rare occurrence, but a daily problem, with the train consistently arriving and departing well behind its scheduled time.

The Visakhapatnam–Araku line is one of the most popular railway journeys in the region, carrying thousands of tourists and local tribal commuters through mountain tunnels and valley views every day. Because tourists rely on strict morning departures to explore Araku's waterfalls, caves, and viewpoints before dark, unpredictable timing leaves holiday plans in chaos.
