RSS Chief Tells Global Leaders That Humanity Is One Across All Religions

RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat delivered a strong message of universal peace at the One World One Humanity interfaith conference at Madison Square Garden in New York.

Speaking to Hindu, Christian, Muslim, and Jewish leaders, he stated that while religious rituals and paths differ, universal truth and humanity remain one.

He explained that diversity is a natural law of the world and must be celebrated rather than feared. Bhagwat reiterated that true Hinduism never excludes others, stating that anyone who believes there should be no place for Muslims in India has lost the true meaning of being a Hindu, since all people possess equal dignity.

Bhagwat emphasized that lasting harmony comes from bottom up social change rather than political maneuvers. Because politics runs on self interest, spiritual leaders must shape public consciousness. He urged leaders to persist through slow, difficult interfaith dialogue, highlighting the RSS grassroots social work as an example of service without religious bias.

Organized by the American Hindus for Engagement and Dialogue during the RSS centenary international tour, the New York speech has drawn widespread global attention for championing interfaith unity.
