AP Government Issues 2026 Job Calendar for 10,060 Vacant Posts Across Four Phases

·

The Andhra Pradesh Finance Department has issued government order G.O.Ms.No.81 on August 22, 2026, officially sanctioning the release of the AP Job Calendar 2026 to fill 10,060 direct recruitment vacancies across more than 25 state departments. Prepared in alignment with public service delivery priorities and the broader objectives of Swarnandhra@2047, the initiative staggers notifications across four phases to avoid examination schedule conflicts and streamline recruitment for job aspirants across the state.

The first phase comprising 1,523 assistant and associate professor posts in the Higher Education Department has already been notified on May 15. The second phase of 3,231 posts is scheduled for notification on September 15, 2026, featuring 149 Group-I positions-such as Deputy Collectors, DSPs, and Municipal Commissioners-alongside substantial police, jail warder, and fire service recruitments.
The recruitment drive continues with the third and fourth phases, both scheduled for notification on October 15, 2026. Phase III will cover 2,311 positions, including 673 Group-II roles like Deputy Tahsildars and MPDOs, as well as engineering and power utility positions. Phase IV encompasses 2,995 vacancies, predominantly dedicated to school education teacher recruitment through District Selection Committees (DSC) for Secondary Grade Teachers and School Assistants.
Major recruiting agencies-including the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC), the AP State Level Police Recruitment Board (APSLPRB), and local DSCs-have been authorized to conduct the examinations.
