Massive $1.5B Blow to Russia! Ukraine Destroys Russia’s Largest Wildberries Mega-Warehouse in Massive Overnight Drone Strike!
In one of the most economically devastating strikes deep inside Russian territory, Ukrainian long-range strike drones have targeted and severely destroyed the flagship logistics hub of Russia's largest e-commerce giant, Wildberries, located at Koledino near Podolsk in the Moscow region. The sprawling facility-measuring roughly 250,000 square meters and serving as the primary distribution nerve center for Russia's online retail economy-was engulfed in a massive inferno overnight on August 16, 2026, sending towering plumes of black smoke over the southern Moscow outskirts.
Ukrainian defense units executed the coordinated strike using indigenous FP-1 long-range attack drones. Ukrainian forces also struck the adjacent Severnoye Domodedovo multimodal logistics complex during the same wave, triggering multiple simultaneous blazes across Moscow's primary commercial transport ring.
The financial fallout is staggering. The direct structural destruction of the mega-hub alongside lost merchandise, specialized automation machinery, and ruined merchant inventories easily exceeds $1.5 billion to $2.5 billion (hundreds of billions of rubles). This strike marks the single largest blow in a wider Ukrainian campaign that has systematically targeted over 15 Wildberries logistics centers across Moscow, Voronezh, Yekaterinburg, and Crimea.
