"Patients Sleeping on Floors, 1-Week Wait for CT Scans!" CJP to Launch Ground Audits of Government Hospitals in Maharashtra!

In a major push to challenge the state of public healthcare, the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) has announced a statewide campaign to inspect and audit infrastructure across government-run hospitals in Maharashtra. Announcing the initiative from his native village of Santuk Pimpri in Hingoli district on Independence Day, CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke alleged that ordinary citizens and low-income families are suffering severe distress due to neglected public health infrastructure, acute hospital bed shortages, and prolonged treatment delays.

Dipke highlighted that patients in public hospitals are frequently forced to sleep on bare floors while waiting days for basic surgeries. He noted that even essential diagnostic procedures like CT scans often carry a waiting period of over a week. Under the planned campaign, party volunteers will conduct ground inspections across state-run healthcare facilities, compiling on-the-spot reports and checklists regarding doctor availability, medical equipment, medicine stocks, and sanitation to demand strict accountability from state authorities.

The hospital inspection movement follows the launch of CJP's "School Thik Karo" (Fix the Schools) campaign, which is actively documenting deficiencies in basic amenities-including drinking water, student benches, and clean toilets-in Zilla Parishad schools across Maharashtra. The organization plans to use ground findings from both its education and healthcare audits to press the government for better utilization of public funds and immediate infrastructure upgrades for the common man.
