"He Hates Jews and Israel!" Trump Launches Savage Attack on Progressive Muslim Leader Abdul El-Sayed After Big Election Victory
US President Donald Trump launched a fierce personal attack on progressive Democratic leader Abdul El-Sayed shortly after El-Sayed won the high-stakes Democratic US Senate primary in Michigan. Speaking at an event in Las Vegas and posting on Truth Social, Trump repeatedly slammed the 41-year-old physician and former public health official, calling him a "communist loser," a "hater of Jews," and a "hater of Israel". Trump claimed that El-Sayed’s victory was actually "great news for Republicans," predicting that the progressive candidate’s controversial stances would help Republican nominee Mike Rogers win the key Senate seat in the November elections.
El-Sayed’s primary victory against US Representative Haley Stevens came as a major political upset in American politics. Pro-Israel lobby groups like AIPAC and political action committees poured a record-breaking $40 million to $70 million into aggressive ad campaigns to defeat him. Celebrating his victory with grassroots supporters in Detroit, El-Sayed stated that the power of ordinary voters proved stronger than lobby money. Pushing back against Trump’s personal insults, El-Sayed rejected accusations of antisemitism, assuring that he stands for the safety of Jewish people while openly opposing unconditional US military aid to foreign countries.
Beyond attacking El-Sayed, Donald Trump also raised unproven allegations of voter fraud, targeting Wayne County (which includes Detroit) and claiming without evidence that "fake mail-in ballots" were being used to rig the vote count. Despite the heavy attacks and election integrity claims, political analysts view El-Sayed's victory as a massive shift within the Democratic Party toward anti-establishment progressive voices. As El-Sayed prepares to face Republican Mike Rogers, Michigan has now officially turned into one of the most fiery and watched political battlegrounds in the United States.
